Peppermint can leave a mild warm effect that can increase blood circulation and get rid of the hickey.
Rubbing the hickey (love bite) with a toothbrush will increase blood flow around the area.
3. Cold compress
The blood clot needs to break so that blood can travel to the required area. A cold compress can help in blood circulation. Put some ice on a napkin or a towel and apply it to the injured area.
4. Aloe Vera
It’s a herb with anti-inflammatory properties, which can provide a soothing effect. But don’t invest in a market-brought product. Extract it from the plant and apply it, which will help to remove the hickey. However, you’ll have to apply it 2 or 3 times a day.
5. Rubbing alcohol
It soothes that pesky love bite and calms the painful, tingly sensation.
6. Banana peel
Apart from being rich in potassium, banana peels are very handy in getting rid of hickeys. You can cut the peel to the size of your hickey and place the peel on it. Do it 2-3 times a day.
7. Warm compress
Just like ice, warm water helps to increase blood flow thus hastening the process of re-absorption of the blood clot.
8. Cocoa butter
This helps the regeneration of damaged tissues, so when you apply, it breaks the blood clot and promotes the renewal of tissue.
